The Amana DS01G Wireless Occupancy Sensing Wall Thermostat combines wire-free digital climate control with an integrated Passive Infrared (PIR) motion sensor. Engineered specifically for Amana J-Series and K-Series Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners, this battery-powered thermostat automatically detects guest presence in the room and adjusts temperature set-points to an energy-saving setback level when the room is unoccupied.
Communicating via secure two-way Radio Frequency (RF) directly to the PTAC mainboard, the DS01G requires no external antenna on J/K-Series models and no wall wiring—saving property owners up to 35% in heating and cooling energy costs without sacrificing guest comfort.
Note: Native RF communication requires no external antenna for Amana J-Series and K-Series PTACs. When pairing with legacy Amana G or E Series units, the DT01G DigiTenna receiver is required. When pairing with Distinctions by Amana models, the GT01H GenericTenna is required.

Because the receiver is already integrated into the unit, the DS01G pairs wirelessly with zero external wiring, wall cutting, or conduit installation.
