The Amana GWT01NE Wireless Digital Wall Thermostat Kit provides wire-free temperature control for commercial hospitality, multi-family, and senior living properties. Engineered as a hybrid wireless solution, the GWT01NE includes both the digital wall thermostat transmitter and the matching antenna receiver module required for wireless RF communication.
Designed for universal compatibility, the GWT01NE connects to any 24V wall-thermostat-capable PTAC unit—including conventional electric heat (PTC) and heat pump (PTH) models across all major brands. Featuring a backlit digital LCD, 2-speed fan selector (Low/High/Auto), field-adjustable setpoint limits, and 5-minute compressor delay protection, this kit eliminates drywall cutting and wire fishing during room retrofits.
Note: Includes wireless wall thermostat, antenna receiver module, wall plate, mounting hardware, and 2 AAA batteries. Compatible with Amana J/K/G/E series, Distinctions by Amana, GE Zoneline, Friedrich, Carrier, and universal 24V PTAC systems.

By combining a wireless wall thermostat transmitter with an included antenna receiver module, the GWT01NE establishes a secure Radio Frequency (RF) connection between the wall and the PTAC chassis without requiring direct line-of-sight alignment.
Universal 24V Compatibility Across Heat Pump & Electric Heat PTACs
Unlike proprietary thermostats that only work on specific chassis generations, the GWT01NE is engineered for universal application:
Conventional Electric Heat Systems (1H/1C): Connects to standard 24V relay terminals (R, C, GL, GH, W, Y) for compressor cooling and electric resistance heating.
Heat Pump Systems (1H/1C & 2H/1C): Configurable via tech setup menu for heat pump reversing valve logic (energizes in cooling "O" or heating "B") with 2nd stage auxiliary heat engagement. Multi-Brand Compatibility: Works seamlessly on Amana, Goodman, GE Zoneline, Friedrich, Carrier, Islandaire, and Gree/Midea PTAC units equipped with remote 24V thermostat terminals.
Advanced Property Management & Energy Protection Controls
Field-Adjustable Setpoint Limits: Property managers can set maximum heat limits (HU menu setting, 44°F to 90°F) and minimum cool limits (CL menu setting, 44°F to 90°F) to prevent guest energy abuse. 5-Minute Compressor Delay: Built-in short cycle delay prevents the compressor from restarting within 5 minutes of shutting off, protecting equipment from electrical spikes and premature motor burnout. Adjustable Cycle Differential (Swing): Heating and cooling swing settings are field-adjustable from 0.2°F to 2.0°F, allowing facility engineers to fine-tune room cycling rates. Dual Power Options: The wall thermostat transmitter can be powered by 2 AAA alkaline batteries (included) or hardwired to 18-30 VAC transformer power.
